Getting to know Mbali Nkosi
The beautiful and all so talented Mbali Nkosi gave Gauteng Lifestyle Magazine the opportunity to share some words with her and get to know her.
Mbali Nkosi has been a standout personality in many entertainment fields. From the television screen to the music industry, she has basically done it all. With even acting and presenting being just some of her many talents, we can just but wonder what more she will accomplish in life.
The fabulous Mbali Nkosi was born and raised in our very own Johannesburg where she fell in love with the arts at a very young age when her mother introduced her to dance. Ballet, modern dancing and Spanish dancing are among some of the dances Mbali learned. In her teens, she went on to perfect Hip Hop dancing and soon after it could be seen that Mbali was going to go far in life.
As Mbali grew in life so did her passion and love for learning new things. Writing became something she loved as it helped her express herself and showed her fondness for music. By the time Mbali was in grade 12 she and Moagi Seete wrote the song “Free” which Thembi Seete loved and decided to record for her album “Music Is My Life”. The song “Free” was nominated for song of the year at the SAMAS.
With everything happening so fast in her life Mbali decided that the entertainment life is destined for her, and right after high school, Mbali went big and gave it her all. 2010 came with a big opportunity as Mbali got the chance to present at a national road show programme for Coca-Cola for the FIFA World Cup. This roadshow had the whole of South Africa fall in love with the vibrant Mbali. After the 2010 roadshow, she went on to present in 2011’s “Mom & Me”.
Mbali showed the world that she isn’t just a beautiful face but her intelligence is also something that will be hard to match. Mbali started her Business Management degree in 2012 at Boston City College and pursued a marketing and sales career and the following year she could be seen in a cameo role on the hit drama series “Rockville” with another big role in 2014 on Generations as the role of Zandu. Mbali has been improving what she does and a role on “Rockville” was offered to her where she would be playing Cindy. Soon after she played Brenda on Zabalaza which also aired on Mzansi Magi.
Mbali Nkosi has taken over the entertainment lifestyle and till this day she can still be found on Mzansi Magic. She is also a great example of someone who made it big but still has that loving and caring personality everyone knows. She said that nothing has changed, she is still the same old Mbali and to everyone who wants to get to know her even better be sure to follow her on social media. @mbali_nks on Twitter and Instagram and Miss Mbali Nkosi on Facebook.
