DSTV Delicious review *****
Whoever puts this shindig together has a lot of soul spirit to go around, because this annual food festival experience has become a mainstay in our social calendars. Mixed with a well thought out line up of performing acts with something for everyone, it’s a day well spent tasting food, drink and urban music at one of the most attended festivals in Gauteng. There is plenty of variety and a perfect place to enjoy with lover, friend or even your kids. Check out more on their lineup which includes personal fave Common, Black Coffee, TKZEE and Thandiswa Mazwai going down at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 7- 8 Oct 17, visit www.deliciousfestival.com for more information.

Every fashionista’s go to style scoop emporium in a week dedicated to fashion at the annual SA Fashion Week taking place in Joburg in October. An olden Goldie that has attracted celebrities, musicians and sport personalities from all over the country with a successful showcasing since its inaugural launch over 10 years ago . Leading Fashion designers and new entries reveal the trends or direction of African fashion, making SA Fashion Week a trailblazing “It-showcasing’ to include in your top notch outings in Gauteng. BMW Polo (Don’t bother showing up in 2017)
The BMW International Polo is a swanky affair that has become very popular with trendy Joburg and Durban residents who indulge in the outdoor marquee settings, flapping hats and colorful fashion enjoyed with a glass of champagne. It’s the endearing polo culture and the charming backdrop of a vibrant but relaxed atmosphere of an International Polo tournament matched with an opulent heritage associated with the sport. This is definitely an outing for those who love the finer things in life and aspire to the European aristocratic lifestyle linked to the equestrian culture. The BMW International Polo is currently exploring the new venue for the grand spectacle and as a result there is no event scheduled for 2017, to follow up on the next one in early 2018 please visit their website www.sapolo.co.za.
As figured with this review….the only one deserving a don’t bother showing up, is BMW International Polo with full explanation on the website for not hosting this year, it still makes it to the ‘Top notch’ list but they get a wacky review because loyalist like me are not happy campers!!
I hope you have been equipped to make your pick and keep your chic on a tip!
Have a fabulous Spring season!
