13th edition of Capital Singers finds new home at Time Square.
South Africa’s largest mass choir, the Capital Singers Christmas Spectacular, has found a new home at Sun International’s Time Square and will fill the state of the art Sun Arena on 12 and 13 December. The massive 1000 choir will feature Joshua na die Reën and Brandon October amongst others and will be accompanied by the best instrumentalists to thrill the audiences in their 13th sell-out production.
Capital Singers is a community based initiative that provides an opportunity for every person who loves to sing to be part of something bigger by coming together for one weekend to do what they love. With the 1000-man limit now reached, volunteer participants are now hard at work practicing in the comfort of their own homes. They will then come together for the rehearsals three days prior to the show.
“We are absolutely delighted to the hosting this grand scale community choir project at the Sun Arena for the first time this year. We love that anyone who loves to sing can have the opportunity to be part of this exceptional show. This year’s event promises to be extraordinary with the Sun Arena as the host venue,” says Brett Hoppé, General Manager at Time Square.
This family styled production takes both choir and audience on an exciting trip down memory lane with the most beautiful Christmas themed music. With stage directing by Ian von Memerty, it is bound to be a Christmas Spectacular like none other. Tickets are priced from R150 per person at Computicket.
