Bonakele Ubuciko Festival.

Every September, event organisers in the country celebrate or rather invest more on traditional music, Maskandi in particular.
Gauteng – Bonakele Myeza going to host the first-ever Bonakele Ubuciko Festival this month. The festival is set to take place at on the 29th of September 2018, Kwa-Thwala, Emaglazini at Vusimuzi inTembisa.
Bonakele said “it is always important to have an eye for new talent, I have seen many up-coming musicians and guitarist with skill that is both undeniable and exceptional in this genre but no one ever seems to be noticing them. Hence I have decided to organise this festival to promote newcomers. It’s totally free but we need sponsors,donations,contributions will help launch what we hope will become an annual Bonakele Ubuciko music festival for years to come—giving newcomers musicians a platform to express their talent for recognition.”
The festival not only features young artists but also well-known Mroza,Ingonyama Yehlathi and etc.
