Celebrate Christmas in sing-along style with Winner and over 15 top South African artists. They will be lead by a full orchestra, under the direction of Jaconell Mouton (of Noot vir Noot fame) and Frans Swart from Lefra Productions (known for hilarious shows such as My Vrou Se Man Se Mannetjie).
Kersfees Skouspel boasts with the crème de la crème of local artists this year, including Alwyn Oberholster, Amanda Strydom, Anna Davel, Brendan Peyper, Chris Chameleon, Daniella Deysel, Die Broers, Helena Hettema, Helene Bester, Jannie Moolman, Joshua Ziervogel, Louis Loock, Saarkie and Steffie le Roux. With these artists all one line-up, this event promises to be nothing but an absolutely festive feast for the eyes and ears.
A showcase of colour, costumes, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, music and singing makes Kersfees Skouspel a marvelous Christmas celebration. Jaconell Mouton says working on this production year on year gets her really excited, as each year new artists bring to the production their unique contributions and switch up the sound and feel.
Brett Hoppé, General Manager of Time Square, says that he is excited about hosting the show at Time Square. “We embrace families and good family fun, and Christmas is the perfect time to be celebrating with loved ones.”
Director Frans Swart is equally excited about the caliber of artists and musicians the show brings to its stage this year. “Christmas is such a wonderful time, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, and presenting this show is an honor.” He says that Sir Cliff Richard’s Christmas song “Mistletoe and Wine” is a firm favourite of his and will certainly be on the line-up. In addition to this, audiences can expect to sing, clap and sway along to other favourites as well.
