Donald brings soulful charm to Sun City.

 

No one sets the scene for romance quite like the team at  Sun City and this February promises to be even more magical than those before.

Imagine live soulful sounds under a starry summer night sky on the beach at the Valley of the Waves with none other than the multi award-winning and BET nominated musician and songwriter, Donald Moatshe, as he returns home to the North West Province to celebrate 10 years in the music industry.

Sun City is turning up the charm by hosting Donald as he serenades guests with his hit songs “Denial”, “Over the moon” and “Landela” to name but a few – all at the country’s most vibrant premium lifestyle destination on Saturday, 23 February 2019.

Bring along that special person or perhaps see what cupid has up his sleeve as you enjoy an unforgettable evening out at Sun City, dancing and singing along to Donald’s impactful, popular songs.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to be hosting Donald at the resort,” says Thapelo Modise, Sun City’s Marketing Manager. “2019 is a big year for Sun City as we celebrate 40 years since the first hotel, Soho (former Sun City hotel), opened.  Donald coming back home to mark his career milestone fits with our celebratory plans which will soon be announced.”

The musician says he is thrilled to be celebrating a decade in the music industry adding that, “It’s humbling to know I’ve been able to do what I love for a decade and to celebrate my achievements with fans, fellow musicians and the media as they have supported me throughout my musical journey.”

Sun City is Donald’s second stop on his #10YearsofDonald Tour, stretching to venues throughout the African continent. Accompanied by some of the biggest names in the South African music industry on the tour, Donald will be joined by Prince Kay Bee and DJ Mobi Dixon for the Sun City performance. Tickets are limited and available from Computicket at R200 or at the venue for R250 per person.

Talented enough to join Donald on stage?

In the weeks prior to Donald’s concert at Sun City he will be auditioning local acts for the exciting opportunity to open for him.

Furthermore, the local artist or band will join the pool of entertainers who perform at the resort and begin to build a professional career performing at various functions and venues on the property.

“It is through the support of our local communities that Sun City has become a premium lifestyle resort brand and we thank Donald for incorporating local talent to his line-up,” adds Modise.

 

Donald, who will also be releasing his fifth studio album titled Her Name Is during the tour says, “I’m excited to see the talent that my home province has to offer. I certainly hope opening for my #10YearsofDonald Tour at Sun City, will inspire upcoming musicians and serve as an example that through discipline, respect for your craft and hard work, longevity is possible.”
