It is not every day that you hear stories of one escaping the gates of heaven to do just one last thing for the one they love.
Mzansi Magic presents a world of fantasy, magic and an ensemble cast in the film ‘’Kuyafiwa Ezulwini”. This comedy tells a story of a supermarket cashier who wins the lottery and on her way to tell her husband she gets hit by a car and dies instantly. And then she goes to a place called “Heavenly Affairs” where she escapes so that she can go back to give her husband the lottery ticket.
Written and produced by Nomvuselelo Dlamini, an Internship Academy 2020 graduate from the MultiChoice Talent Factory South Africa (MTFza) –class of 2019. The filmmaker has always loved comedies that brought her family together where they all sat and laughed while enjoying the entertainment.
Although this is aimed to entertain the viewers but it also has an emotional streak to it that will make you view life in a different light.
“It also has message of being a good person in your life, treat the people in your life with care while you still have a chance”, said Nomvuselelo.
Now, when one talks of a great cast, they are referring to the actor’s ability to embody the character and deliver good performance to the audience.
The ensemble cast consists of Charmaine Mtinta (the leading actress) along with Gabriel Mini and Millicent Makhado. The actor and musician, Gabriel Mini plays as Sipho in the film – a husband to Petunia played by Charmaine Mtinta.
Gabriel Mini always makes sure that he gives each character justice by fully studying the character so that the audience can connect with the character and he did exactly the same with Sipho.
“The viewers can expect so much fun and fantasy world. Oh! What a beautiful concept”, said Gabriel.
