GLM: Who is Schizi?
Schizi: I am Bonginkosi Sibiya, born and bred in Nquthu, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
GLM: Tell us about your music
Schizi: I believe that I am making an outstanding music in Maskandi genre. My music inspire and educate.
GLM: Tell us about your album
Schizi: This is my first album, I have worked with Qhabula, Ishinga leminyaka and Scorpion. It has lots of nice songs and people have received it well.
GLM: Describe yourself in one word
GLM: What makes you stay humble?
Schizi: My grandmother thought me well.
GLM: What have learned from being a celebrity?
Schizi: Firstly I can’t say it is everything I thought it will be but it is an interesting journey since I am still new. All I can say if you want to grow as a celebrity be respectful.
GLM: What does it mean to be a maskandi artist in South Africa?
Schizi : South Africans are slowly forgetting about their roots, we as maskandi singer we are like ambassadors reminding people about who they are.
GLM: How did you feel hearing your song play on Umhlobo Wenene fm?
Schizi: I was excited to a point that I called everyone in my family to tune in.
GLM: Other than music what are you doing?
Schizi: I am an Electrical Engineering student.
GLM: What advise can you give to your peers?
Schizi: Run your race, do not compete. Get education and excel.
